Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. What is Roundtable Labs?

Roundtable Labs was founded in 2015 to provide a much-needed member-driven community to accounting and bookkeeping professionals. We have evolved over the years into both a 24/7 private online community and a number of live (via Zoom) group meetings each month. Membership to any Roundtable gets you into our online community, members-only discounts on products and services you need for your firm, and - most importantly - an unrivaled community of mentors and peers to bounce ideas off and share your ups and downs with.

Roundtable Labs is a community of accounting professionals just like you – and nothing like you! Our differences, and diverse backgrounds and opinions, are what make each Roundtable completely unique.

Q2. Who are Roundtables for?

Roundtables are for accounting and bookkeeping professionals, accountants, bookkeepers, consultants, QuickBooks Pro Advisors, small business owners, and everyone else in the accounting and bookkeeping world. It doesn’t matter if you’re a one-person firm just starting up, or a twenty-year industry veteran with a large staff, we’ve got a Roundtable for you.

Q3. Can I join more than one Roundtable?

You certainly can join more than one Roundtable, but we find that most members get more out of their Roundtable experience when they invest fully in the topic that they’re most interested in, and passionate about.

Q4. What if I can’t attend, or miss a meeting - is there a recording?

We know life gets busy sometimes! It’s OK if you miss a meeting here and there, however, we don’t record our meetings. Part of the Roundtable experience is the live nature and confidentiality of our sessions. Only those in the room are privy to what’s discussed at any given meeting. We’ll miss you if you can’t attend, but we’ve also found not recording meetings leads to better conversations, and better results for everyone.

Q5. I've got an idea for a new Roundtable

Great! We love your feedback. We're always interested in new Roundtables to serve our members better. If you've got an idea for a Roundtable, please contact us to tell us all about it!
